celebrating our anniversary in funchal and our stay at pestana was absolutely delightful. the lovely buildings, fabulous gardens, and amazing views exceeded our expectations. the staff were polite and friendly, the breakfast had a huge variety, 

The location of the hotel was excellent, with small supermarkets and a supermarket within walking distance. The breakfast was savory and plentiful, offering excellent meals.

Everything except....

No wifi in rooms which is unacceptable in this day and age. To make things worse the Wifi in the public areas was sometimes overloaded so it took a considerable time to get online. A real disappointment.

Great location with beautiful gardens! The room was nicely decorated and spacious, and I felt safe with smoke detectors. The staff was super helpful which made my stay even better. 🌿

I stayed in a spacious family room with a luxurious jacuzzi, and the vibe here was very family-oriented.

The location was good, but although they cleaned the room every day, the glass of the bath was dirty and cupboards doors were broken. Breakfast was nothing fancy but ok.
